Gail Harbott – passionate and positive

Gail’s mantra is Get up; Dress up; Show up; and NEVER give up. Gail is passionate about living positively and raising awareness for accessibility and inclusion for all.

Living with MS for over 20 years, Gail is a vivacious MS Queensland Ambassador who does not let MS stop her. Gail has worked and travelled across the world and is now settled on the Gold Coast and is a popular face in her local community, with her beautiful companion dog Coda.

Gail is very active and outgoing and has forged great relationships across the community including regular support from the Titans Football club.  She loves the freedom of the water and she regularly throws on an Aqua Jogging belt and gets in the pool. People notice the dog and the wheelchair at the pool and people look around for who it all belongs but when you are in the water everyone looks the same. Gail also loves disability surf lessons. She and her family are fantastic supporters of all MS Queensland fundraising events and are particularly MS Swimathon champions!

Gail will delight you with her infectious positivity and her message to surround yourself with support and connect with others living positively with MS as there is so much knowledge to learn from others – you don’t know what you don’t know.
