In celebration of MS Readathon, children’s author Wenda Shurety has kindly recorded a video sharing her latest book, Pear of Hope for you and the little ones to watch together! A tale about recovery and hope, this story follows a young girl called Anna who finds comfort in a pear tree after falling ill. A beautifully insightful narrative, grab the kids and settle down for this bedtime story as Wenda takes you on a journey of hope!

Born in London and raised in the beautiful county of Norfolk, England, Wenda was originally a scientist researching cells. After being diagnosed with MS, Wenda became inspired to change her career path and is now a children’s author who loves to write from the heart about nature, diversity and the magical world of the imagination. She lives in Brisbane with her husband, daughter, two rescue dogs and cat.
You’ll register online for a webinar, be sent a confirmation and reminder email in the lead up to the webinar, and when the webinar day arrives, be asked to log on to enjoy the webinar from the comfort of your own home. Remember you’ll need to register each time you want to listen in to a webinar, as the webinar logins are unique.
During the webinar you’ll be able to ask questions of our facilitator, view the presentation and notes they are referring to and even go back to re-watch a webinar at a later stage when it suits you.
