It’s that time of year again – time for the MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride!
We recognise that not everyone can get on their bike or travel down to Brisbane which is why we run the MS Cycle Challenge across Queensland, parallel to the main bike ride.
The MS Cycle Challenge is open to anyone living with MS who can use a MOTOmed, stationary bike or arm cycle in their home, local gym or physiotherapy clinic.
Our goal this year is to have 100 people with MS involved so sign up for FREE today!

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
- Simply choose a goal of either TIME or DISTANCE. For example “I will cycle for a total of 30 hours this month” or “I will cycle a total of 30 kilometres every week.”
- Decide when and where you’re going to cycle. For example during your usual exercise sessions; at your local gym or at home (or a combination of many) between 29 May and 18 June 2017.
- Get cycling! Record your details of TIME or DISTANCE on your goal keeping sheet.
- At the end of the challenge, email or post us your goal keeping sheet.
- Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
ASK A FRIEND
Cycling is a fairly social sport so why not get your friends together for a social cycling session or use the MS Cycle Challenge as a motivator for achieving your personal best time or distance. This is a great way for you to focus on increasing your aerobic fitness during the challenge and set goals for yourself, so …. start peddling and have some fun while keeping fit!
CAN I FUNDRAISE FOR THE MS CYCLE CHALLENGE?
Yes! Let your family and friends know that you’re participating in the MS Cycle Challenge and get them to support you to cycle for time or distance by giving you a donation through the Brissie to the Baypage. Or contact us if you would like your own fundraising page! You can also download a bunch of fundraising resources here. All funds raised will help MS Queensland continue to support people living with MS.
DO I HAVE TO FUNDRAISE?
Your family and friends are welcome to support you and other people living with MS by donating to your cycle but there are no compulsory fundraising targets. The aim is to get everyone involved in the MS Cycle Challenge over the month of June and to promote living an active lifestyle.
